Privacy and Cookies
RecapShelf is a free fan guide with no accounts, no comments and no ads. This page explains the little information the site collects and the choices you have.
What is collected
If you allow it, the site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Google Analytics records things like the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, from a search engine), your approximate location (city or country) and your browser and device type. It does not tell us who you are, and the site does not use it for advertising.
Search on this site runs in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere by the search itself, but it appears in the page address, which Google Analytics records as part of the visit when Analytics is on.
Cookies and stored settings
- _ga and _ga_8DEJ6WMWV0: Google Analytics cookies that tell one visit from another. They last up to two years and are set only when Analytics is on.
- rs-consent: remembers your cookie choice in your browser’s storage, so you are not asked on every page. It is never sent to us.
The site sets no advertising cookies.
Your choice
Visitors in Europe (the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland) are asked first, and Google Analytics does not load until they accept. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are treated as having declined. Anyone can change their choice at any time; declining also deletes the Analytics cookies.
You can also block Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Other services
Google processes Analytics data under the Google Privacy Policy. The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles each request to deliver pages and protect the site, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
